Very simple explanations of the highly effective principles. Anyone can use it, not matter of your height, weight or physical shape. This DVD has great Spetsnaz techniques for releasing from grabs by the hand, elbow or shoulder. Actually, after watching this DVD I am using this principle for takedown applications, because it teaches how to transfer my body weight, apply rotation and point of support. Once you have learned it, you will see how simple and effective is it for close hand to hand combat! Perfect techniques for a limited space fighting, like if someone grabs you in a bar or on a parking lot next to your car - you will know what to do. Great Systema Spetsnaz DVD. Absolutely must have DVD for beginners and advanced fighters!

Point of support, body rotation and weight transfer!! If you get this simple principle, you will be simply unbeatable. Great DVD, easy to understand, a lot of different variations!

I would like to call it JOINT LOCKS applications. The DVD covers the theory of levers and different joint movements. Theory of levers is the fundamental principle in Systema Spetsnaz (you will use it everywhere, for strikes, weapons self-defense, takedowns techniques etc.) Another fundamental principle of hand to hand combat is wrist locks and fingers locks. And this DVD covers it well! First you learn wrist locks, then follow up applications that will immobilize the attacker's elbow and shoulder. This DVD also has examples of different life situations that good to take into consideration: self defense in close hand to hand combat, wrist locks from knife threats and knife attack, wrist locks and finger locks working with guns, and some applications in combat with multiple opponents.

I have learned a few wrist locks while studying martial arts, but Systema Spetsnaz shows wrist locks that are more combat applicable!!
