Very satisfied with this Spetsnaz DVD. More than 50 different applications of knife fighting techniques. Easy to follow instructions. I found that all applications are practical and real. Some exercises are very simple and some are advanced. Definitely recommend this Spetsnaz DVD to both: beginners and advanced students. This is quite different from other Martial Arts and I like the simplicity and effectiveness of Spetsnaz knife combat. I am adding this DVD to my list of my favorites.

Knife in close combat. This DVD includes several self defense techniques against different kind of knives (single or double blade). Dodges, disarming the knife using strikes, kicks, joint blocks, wrist locks, applications using your hands and/or your body, including action for self defense and offensive actions for soldiers in knife combat. Systema Spetsnaz is different from most other videos because it teaches us what to do to reduce the chance of knife cuts during the confrontation in close combat.

I have seen many different martial arts and combative systems. I don't think I've ever seen that has such a simple and effective ground for weapons defense.
